How it works

If you are looking for honey

  1. Search by type of honey, area or producer. You can choose farms, hobby beekeepers or both.
  2. Open the producer’s page and choose your jars and how to get them: pick-up, shipping or local delivery.
  3. Send the booking: you pay nothing on MieliAmo. The producer contacts you to confirm and you agree on payment together.
  4. You receive an email with the code and a link to check the status of your booking or cancel it.

If you produce honey

Farms and hobby beekeepers registered as producers can join: registered as a beekeeper (in Italy, in the national beekeeping register, BDA), with food-safety registration for selling and compliant labels. We check every request before publishing it.

Terms of use

MieliAmo is a free listings service that connects honey producers and buyers. MieliAmo does not sell honey, does not collect payments, takes no commission and is not a party to the sale: price, payment and delivery are agreed directly between producer and buyer.

Each producer is solely responsible for what they publish (descriptions, prices, availability) and for the honey they offer: quality, hygiene, labelling, food-safety and beekeeping registrations, compliance with the rules on selling, delivery and any complaints. MieliAmo does not guarantee the quality of the honey, the accuracy of listings or the outcome of agreements between producer and buyer.

Reports: MieliAmo checks producers’ details when they sign up, but does not check every listing in advance. If a listing looks illegal, misleading or non-compliant, report it with the «Report this listing» link on the producer’s page or by writing to info@mieliamo.com. We examine every report and, if it is well-founded, we edit or remove the listing and may suspend or delete the producer.

If you book: your name, email, phone and any address and notes are used only to handle the booking. They are sent to the producer you chose, who uses them to contact you and deliver the honey. Legal basis: carrying out your request. The producer may keep your contact details in their customer list on MieliAmo for future sales: they are responsible for that data, and you can ask them to delete it at any time.

If you produce: your sign-up details, including the documents uploaded for verification, are used to check your profile and make it work (legal basis: your sign-up request). Your public page shows only the name you chose, your town, province, introduction, delivery options and, if you decide so, your phone number. Your registration number and documents are seen only by the administrator and are never published.

Providers: data is stored on Cloudflare (servers, database and document storage) and emails are sent through Resend. These providers process data on behalf of MieliAmo and may do so outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Cookies: MieliAmo uses no cookies, no third-party analytics and no advertising, which is why there is no cookie banner. Your browser only stores technical data: the codes of your bookings, your language choice and, for producers, access to the dashboard. The ApiAmo icon at the top is loaded from apiamo.app, a site of the same data controller.

How long: bookings for 24 months, after which they are deleted automatically; producer profiles and their documents for as long as they are registered. When a producer is deleted, only a statistical summary remains (public name, area and sales figures), with no contact details and no customer data. You can ask at any time for access to, correction or deletion of your data by writing to the data controller, and you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
